There are many considerations and questions you will have when designing your luxury tented solution.  In most places tents do not require permitting. Our team of experienced experts at Exclusive Frontiers will guide you through the entire process from site selection to materials, framing, architectural considerations and more.

Our tents models range in size from 6.8 m2 / 73 ft2 to 13.5 m2 / 145 ft2 to 320 m2 / 3449 ft2. Custom designs can be as large as you would like.  Hanging body style tents can be taken down relatively easily in the case of impending severe weather such as Cyclones, Hurricanes, etc. The installation of framed doors and windows into the tents will impede this feature.

Standard designs can be customized and you can also design your own if you contact us with your ideas, plans or drawings.  
On standard tent designs, you can choose the color of the canvas, rain fly and shade fly, frame colors along with window and door placement and type. 
 
All tents will require decking to be built on.  This is included in your price.  Wooden decking is most popular but floating decks and poured concrete slabs have all been frequently used. The tents must be secured to a solid base.

• Fabric is a heavy ripstop canvas and treated with UV protection, fire retardant, anti rot and waterproofing. Our canvas is not your typical cotton canvas.

• We also supply a canvas maintenance compound that further extends the life of the canvas, that when applied, restores UV protection, fire retardant, anti rot, water proofing & original color.

HANDLING THE ELEMENTS

• Our tents are UV protected. We have tents doing well in the intense sun of the Namibia, Kalahari, Sahara, Sonoran, tropical islands and other locations. 
• The tents can handle snow. 
• The tents are 100% waterproof when installed correctly.
• Highly rated insulation is sewn between two layers of canvas.  Block-out canvas is also an option. 
• Tent canvas and outer roof layers can be treated with fire retardancy.
• We can  can design solutions to accommodate winds from 75 kmh (46mph) to 205 kmh ( 128 mph)​
• Rainwater can be harvested from each of the tensioning points on the frame. 
• ​Tent roofing is  designed to allow for maximum airflow and super efficient natural cooling.
• Ceiling fans work very well when the humidity is not close to saturation point.
• You can also install  air conditioning units into your tent.
• You can also create a microclimate over your bed with Evening-Breeze. ​​​​

PRICING

Exclusive Frontiers will discuss your budget and assist you in designing a solution. Each tent is priced differently based on the structure, labor and complexity to manufacture. Custom options such as insulation, openings and frames used can also affect the price.  In addition to the tent costs you will need to factor in freight, wooden platforms, layout, electrical, plumbing, interiors, fixtures, appliances, setup, design, site and experience selection, duties and related costs.
